The weather was the huge story in the region on Sunday with damaging winds and flooding that occurred in multiple places across Western New York.

Angola was one of the towns that saw significant flooding on Sunday evening, right by the lakeshore, and one man decided to have some fun with the flooding.

According to WIVB, one man took a kayak out on Court Street in Angola, which was flooded.

I was driving through South Buffalo and West Seneca earlier on Sunday evening and I have rarely seen winds that speed. It was difficult to drive and there were down branches everywhere. I saw plenty of utility trucks as well, as they have a very busy Sunday and Monday ahead of them as they try to get power restored to many people across Western Mew York.

Get ready for snow, too, as snow showers and even lake effect bands will cross over Western New York Tuesday, while snow will be sown in the southern tier Monday morning.
