New York Christmas Tree Started on Fire

What a wild world we are living in right now. One man has been arrested after he lit the massive Christmas Tree on fire outside of the FOX building in New York City in protest.

They estimate that the damage caused was around $500,000.

New York City first responders were busy putting the massive tree located on West 48th Street and 6th Avenue. Police have confirmed that the man who set the tree on fire was 49 years old. The worst part is...they just finished decorating and celebrating the tree being up in the beginning of this week.

The News Corp. building on Avenue of the Americas just celebrated the Christmas tree on Sunday. It's filled with 10,000 glass ornaments, 100,000 lights and it took over 21 hours to put together. Crews were later seen taking down what was left of the tree", according to NBC:

The man who is in police custody right now is Craig Tamanaha who is being charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and trespassing among other charges.
