As we get further into spring and restrictions start loosening around Western New York, school districts in the area are also planning a possible return to in-person learning.

One major school district in Western New York is reportedly planning to return to in-person learning by the end of this month.

WIVB is reporting that sources have told them that the Williamsville Central School District is planning to bring students back to the classroom by the end of April.

Elementary students would be back on a full-time basis, while middle and high school students would return on a four days a week basis. Families are expected to be notified tomorrow.

However, it should be noted this return to the classroom is based on COVID-19 transmission rates, WIVB is reporting.

Just two weeks ago, Hamburg schools announced a plan to return to full in-person learning by April 26th. That date is tentative.
