Macy’s To Close 125 Of Its Stores

It was announced on Tuesday that Macy's would close 125 of its stores and over 2,000 corporate jobs. It will also close its corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, according to WKBW.

The plan is to eliminate the stores across "lower-tier malls." Whether that includes any in Western New York remains to be seen. There are locations at the Boulevard Mall in Amherst and Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga.

Macy's will continue to run a corporate headquarters in New York City.
