Who always needs to have a sweet and sugary-flavored pie?

Here's a hearty and savory kind of pie that would be perfect for dinner time!

Ingredients:

4 cups zucchini, thinly sliced
1 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup margarine
2 Tbs. parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 eggs
2 cups Muenster or Mozzarella cheese
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 can crescent rolls (8 count)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375.

Cook zucchini and onion in margarine until tender. Stir in seasonings. In large bowl beat eggs, add vegetables and cheese.

Separate dough into triangles and place in ungreased 10 inch pie plate or 12x8 baking dish. Pre-bake crust for about 7 minutes. Spread mustard on bottom of crust and add zucchini mixture (not too much juice). Bake for about 35 minutes or until set in the middle.

Serve with a tossed salad and it is a meatless dinner. Enjoy!
