I can never remember a time when the country of China was not mentioned either in the news or in general conversation. The country was obviously the focal point in 2020 because of COVID and whether you believe the stories or not there is no denying that that country is a part of all of our lives.

It seems like everything is made in China. Clothing, electronics, furniture. If you can purchase it, chances are it was manufactured there. But there is one man who was fed up with the money and the jobs going overseas.

Made In America Store, located at 1000 Maple Road in Elma, owner Mark Andol, who is also the owner of General Welding & Fabricating, Inc., founded Made In America Store in 2010. His inspiration and desire to open the store came out of losing a contract to another company overseas in yes, China. He had to close a few of his plants resulting in laying off employees. The was the final straw for Mark. Since then everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that Made In America deals in is in fact manufactured right here in the United States of America. And people care and they come out to patronize the concept.

WIVB reported that Made In America just welcomed its 1000th tour bus.
