Lake Erie Sets New Record

While the warm weather has left Western New York, it did help Lake Erie set a new record on Thursday!

The blast of tropical warmth we got earlier this week helped keep Lake Erie warmer than usual and a new Water Temperature record was set on Thursday.

According to Heather Waldman from WGRZ, The water temp of 67 degrees set a new record high. The Average temp of the water at this time of the year is around 61.
