A lake effect snow warning is in effect for several counties in Western New York, including Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and southern Erie County.According to the National Weather Service, some areas could see several inches of accumulation as a snow band is moving across Western New York creating reduced visibility and several accidents on the roadways.

A wind chill advisory is also in effect starting at 10:00A.M. on Wednesday, and expected to last until 10:00A.M. on Thursday.
