Seems like just a short time ago we were enjoying unseasonably warm temperatures in Western New York just about a week ago. But if you've lived in Buffalo long enough, you know that's more than enough time for the weather to switch on a dime.

According to WKBW, snow will be the story on Tuesday for all of Western New York.

WKBW reports that snow will fall in the southern tier on Sunday night into Monday morning, with minor accumulations.

However, Tuesday morning that changes.

The winds will blow all day long on Monday as the weather stays cold and blustery, then snow showers will start early Tuesday morning across Western New York.

By the mid-day on Tuesday, lake effect snow bands will set up on a northwest alignment, which will cross north and east of Buffalo, including south.

According to WKBW's forecast, 2-4 inches could fall in the southtowns and parts east and well south of Buffalo by Tuesday night, while 1-2 inches could fall for the Buffalo metro and areas north of the city.

Snow should fade away Tuesday evening and the temperatures will get warmer by the end of the week, so it's not all bad...that is if you don't like snow!
