Lake Effect Debuts Chicken Wing-Flavored Ice Cream

If you love Frank's Red Hot wing sauce, Lake Effect Ice Cream has something for you.

The local ice cream maker will debut their wing sauce flavored ice cream this Saturday, according to the Buffalo News.

It's called Medium, Extra Creamy and the cold treat features the heat of Franks Red Hot.

"You get the heat, the tang of the RedHot, and then it goes away. It feels weird to call it the unholy child of ice cream and Frank's ... ," Lake Effect co-owner Jason Wulf told the Buffalo News.

"We're proud we know how to do it," Wulf continues. "It took a bunch of attempts - those two things, chemically, don't mix together - but we finally figured it out."
