It's simple math: Kelly Clarkson + Josh Groban + Phantom of the Opera = pure perfection.

As a gift to the world — and to promote Josh Groban's upcoming album, Stages — Kelly Clarkson stepped into the role of Phantom character Christine Daaé to assist Josh in belting out one of the show's most memorable tunes, "All I Ask of You."

Unsurprisingly, Josh Groban and Kelly Clarkson both sound phenomenal on the poignant track, with Josh gently crooning his verses in the love song as Kelly gorgeously belts out her overlapping notes. While covering such a beloved and classic tune is undoubtedly a huge undertaking, one of the things we love most about their version is that they make it entirely their own — Kelly doesn't attempt to make it operatic, and in (not) doing so, she leaves her own, uniquely Kelly Clarkson stamp on the song.

The emotional track is just one of many show tunes on Groban's musical theater album Stages, which will also include the tearjerker "Bring Him Home" (from Les Mis), a mashup of "Children Will Listen" and "Not While I'm Around" (from Into the Woods and Sweeney Todd, respectively) and "What I Did For Love" (from A Chorus Line), Broadway World reports. Stages drops on April 28, and needless to say we have no chill whatsoever.
