Keep The Kids Busy On Thanksgiving with These Cute DIY Table Decorations

When I was a kid, for whatever reason, my grandma got up and put that turkey in the oven at like...5am.  Why the cooking time has reduced so much now, I have no idea.  I'll leave that to the scholars.

But I CAN tell you, when I was a kid, that meant WE were up and raring to go...often causing mayhem and destruction while the adults were trying to stage the entire Thanksgiving meal.

It may have helped (the adults) to have us (the kids) have something constructive to do.  So I found these cute little things to keep the little ones occupied while you slave over that green bean casserole (read: open the bottle of chardonnay before 10am...)

• Brown pom pom
• 7 pipe cleaners in fall colors (like brown, red, orange, or beige)
• Small pine cone
• 2 googly eyes
• Piece of yellow felt
• Piece of construction paper
• Glue
• Scissors
