Kanye West’s ‘The Life of Pablo’ Will Debut on All Streaming Services This Friday

Even though Kanye West said The Life of Pablo would "never never never" be on Apple, it looks like the album is finally coming to streaming services this Friday (April 1).

Spotify, Apple Music, Rhapsody and Google Play will be among the streaming services to receive The Life of Pablo, reports Mashable. "Famous" and "I Love Kanye" have both been released to those services, as well as the newly released Soundcloud Go, though no word yet on whether the album will be available on that last platform.

Kanye seemed dead set on keeping the album a TIDAL exclusive for as long as possible, so it's curious to see his statement about the album never going on Apple proven wrong. The whole release has been quite shaky, with the album being briefly available for direct purchase on Kanye's own website before being taken down. Almost two months after the Yeezy Season 3 event at Madison Square Garden, people who bought ticket bundles to the nationwide screenings that were supposed to include copies of the album are just today getting download links for the album.

In addition to the streaming news, XXL is also learning that The Life of Pablo has been updated yet again. Almost every single song has gotten some sort of tweak, including "Ultralight Beam," "Feedback," "Highlights" and others.

"Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" also got some updated vocals on the end. You can hear those below. It seems this is indeed the final, (more) complete version of the album, but knowing Kanye the album could get updated again next week.

Earlier this week, TIDAL reported that The Life of Pablo was streamed over 250 million times in the 10 days following the album's release on the streaming service.
