The Bills had their chances to put the game away but it was one incredible catch by the Vikings wide receiver that kept the Vikings in the game.
It was 4th and 18 in the 4th quarter when Jefferson battled Buffalo's Cam Lewis and came away with the NFL catch of the year. A one-handed grab while being defended by Lewis.
The catch allowed the Vikings to continue that drive and while they would be stopped on the goalline by the Bills' defense, the offense would fumble the ball on the next play and the Vikings would go on to take the lead and eventually win the game in overtime.
The loss drops the Bills to 6-3 on the season and into 3rd place in the AFC East behind the Dolphins and the Jets. According to NFL.com, the Bills are currently in 6th seed for the AFC playoffs. Only seven teams make it into the playoffs.
