One of the dominant stories in Concord, NY the past two months is Chunk the pit bull. Back in September, Chunk bit a postal worker and has since had his fate in a civil case in Concord.

Chunk's owner says he was tethered the day the incident happened.

According to WGRZ, a judge in Concord ruled that Chunk will not be euthanized. The pit bull will have to be micro-chipped however and his owner will need to build an enclosure around their yard and be on a leash that's no longer than 30 feet when on their property, among other regulations.

Chunk will also have to undergo the Canine Good Citizen training outlined by the American Kennel Club.

The decision was pushed back until Chunk could get an evaluation from a dog behaviorist.
