Now that we're heading into the colder weather, going to comforting Western New York restaurants will be a popular activity over the next several months, especially from now until Christmas and New Year's Eve.

The Buffalo region is known for many famous restaurants and if you have noticed, some of the most popular restaurants have a select number of parking spots available.

For instance, Bar-Bill in East Aurora technically has some parking next to it, but most people try to fins street parking or in the back lot.

The Poked Yolk in Orchard Park (near Highmark Stadium) has limited parking and is always packed on weekends because of how valued their breakfast menu is.

JP Fitzgerald's in Hamburg is another hugely popular bar and restaurant in the southtowns.

However, on weekend evenings, it can get very packed. Some cars have to park at Tops and it can get even more crowded if there's an event going on.

On Wednesday, JP Fitzgerald's announced that they're in the process of creating more parking.

Working in downtown Buffalo, I know firsthand just how valuable parking spaces are and I know many southtown residents are thrilled about this.

The weather is also getting colder and snow should be coming down over the next few weeks, so that's yet another reason for why people will try and find the closest parking spaces possible.
