Josh Allen has told the story of how he was disappointed in an athlete as a kid and never wants a kid to feel like that because of him...now he's going above and beyond.

When Josh Allen was a kid he waited to get to meet a baseball player for the San Francisco Giants.  He waited and waited only to get blown off by the player.  He vowed that if he ever became a professional athlete, he would do everything he could to make sure that no kid ever felt that way because of him.  So far, he's gone above and beyond to make sure that never happens.

Training camp has begun for the Bills.  For a lot of kids, it's an opportunity to get close to some of the star players that they, otherwise, wouldn't have a chance to meet.  A lot of kids bring stuff to be signed by their favorite players and most of the Bills go out of their way to make sure they get something signed.

Yesterday after practice Josh Allen was signing away when he found that there were some kids waiting with nothing to be signed.  Then he did this...

Josh Allen took off his own cleat, signed it, and handed it to the kid who was waiting.  He never hesitated.  He didn't make a big deal out of it.  He just did it.

We know that this guy loves to have fun.  He has a strong desire to win.  But what is often overlooked is how kind he is.  He's a role model quarterback who not only gives adults hope but gives kids someone to look up to.
