The Buffalo Bills will play at the New York Jets this Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. It's a return to the 1 pm kickoff slot for the Bills, as they try and improve to 7-1 for the 2022 regular season.

The team has made quite a few roster moves over the last several days, including two trades.

One trade was bringing back safety Dean Marlowe, who played with the Bills from 2017-2020. The Bills sent a 7th round pick to the Atlanta Falcons for Marlowe.

The other trade was the Bills upgrading at running back.

They sent a conditional 6th round pick and running back Zack Moss to the Indianapolis Colts for running back Nyheim Hines.

Hines is considered one of the best pass-catching running backs in football and has electric speed, along with the strength to shed defenders if need be.

His speed might surprise fans. He ran a 4.38 40-yard-dash at the combine back in 2018 and is even faster than rookie running back James Cook.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen had that reaction when he watched Hines for the first time at Bills practice. Him and Stefon Diggs had the same reaction.

"Holy crap, this guy's fast," said Allen.

Hines will have to learn a fairly extensive playbook, since the Bills run a pass-heavy system with lots of motion. Allen said their system isn't the easiest to learn so it will probably take a few weeks for Hines to get accustomed to most of the playbook.

Hines adds that missing piece the Bills have been wanting in the backfield.
