As the Buffalo Bills continue their playoff run this season, their star quarterback is expected to get a massive contract extension.

Even though Josh Allen still has another year left on his contract and the Bills have the option to pick up the fifth year, the team is expected to offer the young quarterback a massive long term deal.

According to NFL.com, the team is expected to work out a new deal with Allen this Summer.

The Buffalo brass is expected to approach Allen's representation about a massive contract extension in the spring or summer that could make him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks, if not the highest, in the league,

Allen who was selected seventh overall in the 2018 NFL draft signed a four-year deal worth $21 million dollars. . Several other young NFL quarterbacks have recently signed extensions with their teams including Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes who inked a 10 year $450 million dollar deal.

Allen could become the highest-paid player in the NFL with a new deal.

In his career, Allen has thrown for 9,707 yards along with 67 touchdowns.
