Josh Allen Launches a Mammoth Drive in Lake Tahoe
Is there anything that Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen can't do? We know he is a beast on the football field, but his golf skills are also out of this world.
The Buffalo Bill's QB is no stranger to the golf course. Back in June, he took to the course in Las Vegas as part of "The Match". The four-player tournament featured Tom Brady and Aaron Rogers teaming up to play golf against Patrick Mahomes and Allen.
In the end, the old men prevailed, as Brady and Rodgers won on this clutch putt by Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.
Allen was solid for most of the day, except for the one errant shot that struck a fan. But, we won't dwell on that.
As the Bills broke mini-camp, several players left town for some downtime, before the team starts training camp on July 24th at St. John Fisher University after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
We know that Allen's favorite target, Stefon Diggs, has been hard at work training in Los Angeles. So, what's QB1 been up to during his break.
Working on his drives is apparently the answer. Allen is joining other NFL stars like Patrick Mahomes, Tony Romo, Aaron Rodgers, and Travis Kelce, along with a field of celebrities and athletes like Nick Jonas, Justin Timberlake, Annika Sorenstam, Charles Barkley, Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost, and country music star Jake Owen who are competing at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe this weekend, July 6th through the 10th.
Looks like the work on his long ball has paid off. Check out Allen launching this drive 342 yards at 174 miles per hour!!
The day will eventually come when Allen will have to hang up his football cleats. Looks like he has a solid retirement fallback career. FORE!
