The Buffalo Bills are already 10 days into training camp at St. John Fisher University and it’s been a fairly eventful camp thus far.

The Bills have been in the news with multiple scuffles during practice, one of which included Josh Allen, after he was hit by defensive tackle, Jordan Phillips.

The injury bug has also gotten the Bills, unfortunately. Wide receiver Marquez Stevenson left practice on Tuesday with a foot injury, while safety Jordan Poyer left with what appeared to be an arm injury.

Poyer appeared to hurt his arm during 11-on-11 drills and according to Ian Rapaport of The NFL Network, had an MRI on his left elbow.

We have an update on Poyer’s injury.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Poyer suffered a hypertension of his elbow and will miss a few weeks.

There’s optimism he will be ready for week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams.

This is just about as good as news as any. Poyer could not even move the arm when he was escorted off the field and any time an MRI is ordered, the worst is expected, but having a good chance to be ready by week 1 is good news.

This means Jaquan Johnson and Damar Hamlin will see more playing time at camp and certainly the preseason.

Speedy recovery wishes to Poyer.
