Jordan Poyer was not on OTA's on Tuesday and everyone has been wondering why exactly. In fact, he may not be there because he is waiting for a big contract, but on the other hand, he is gearing up for this big event that is happening tomorrow night that features him in Buffalo.

Jordan Poyer will be doing a live, special event on addiction and will be the featured speaker at an event at Meadille college on Thursday Night. All you have to do is register for the event and it is completely FREE.

It’s OK to Ask for Help, a Presentation Featuring Jordan Poyer

May 26, 2022

Poyer has opened up last year about his addiction, especially on social media. Now, he is trying to help others. So, maybe he was not at OTAs. Maybe it was business. But, maybe he was getting ready for something like this, too.

Here are all of the details according to Eventbrite:

Serving as the keynote speaker for the presentation, “It’s OK to Ask for Help,” Poyer will talk about his two-year journey of recovery after struggling with alcohol addiction before he decided to quit drinking on March 13, 2020. The Buffalo Bills captain hopes that by being open about his process and how he was able to overcome his addiction, he will inspire others who may be struggling. During the presentation, he will share what he has learned in his own journey and how he was inspired to use his platform as a professional football player to positively impact as many people as possible.
