Former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly has filed the paperwork to become a registered New York State lobbyist.  According to WGRZ Kelly took to Albany this past Tuesday to lobby for legalizing and regulating websites FanDuel and DraftKings.

Because Kelly was paid more than 5 Thousand dollars to address this issue he legally had to register as a lobbyist. The law gives someone 15 days after lobbying to legally register. The spokesperson for the the group behind hiring Kelly denied concerns that Kelly violated rules and signed autographs at an Albany press conference.

The legislative session is scheduled to end today.
