Jerry Sullivan’s Daughter Wins ABC’s ‘The Proposal’

It actually may be one of the dumbest shows I've ever seen.

ABC's "The Proposal" is a reality show that is basically, the Miss America Pageant with 10 contestants and they are trying to win a proposal from a guy whose identity isn't even revealed until they get down to the final two women.

The winner gets a proposal from the guy.

The winner? Buffalo native Abby Sullivan who went to Holy Angels and then Fredonia for college. Abby's dad is former Buffalo News sports columnist Jerry Sullivan!

The proposal didn't last very long as they broke it off.

I'm lost for words," he wrote. "She stole the show and I was proud of her performance. Whether I'm proud of American culture is another question", according to the Buffalo News.
