Police are offering a reward for a Buffalo man in connection to a deadly nightclub shooting. Crime Stoppers WNY is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the man's arrest and indictment. Sharief McBroom is wanted in connection to a fatal shooting at Club Marcella that took place on February 12, 2023. If you have any information, please call 716-867-6161.

A 17-year-old was arraigned on gun charges related to the shooting at Club Marcella. The 17-year-old was arrigned on February 16 before Youth Part Judge Brenda Freedman on the following offenses:

- Three counts of Assault in the First Degree (Class “B” violent felonies)
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony)
- Three counts of Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree (Class “D” felonies)
- Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm (Class “E” felonies)

The teen allegedly brought a gun inside the club, which was allegedly used by the shooter.

Deadly Shooting Inside Buffalo Night Club Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Injured

A fatal shooting inside of a Buffalo night club left a 21-year--old dead and two other people injured. The deadly incident happened around 2:30 am on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Club Marcella. The nightclub is located at 106 Michigan Avenue in Buffalo.

Buffalo Police officers from the Central District were called to the club just after 2:30 am. Three people were shot inside the club during an argument, according to WIVB. A 21-year-old man from Buffalo died at the scene. Two other victims were taken to local hospitals and are both listed in stable condition. Police are asking anyone with information to call or text the Confidential TIPCALL Line at (716) 847-2255.

Fillmore District Councilman Mitch Nowakoski released a statement about the shooting, which happened in his district,

I am deeply saddened by the tragic act of violence that took place at Club Marcella early Sunday morning resulting in the loss of life. I will continue to work with our local authorities, city officials and community stakeholders to ensure safety in the cobblestone district. Violence has no place in our community and I continue to remain in constant and open communication with Buffalo Police and the owners of Marcella’s as the investigation proceeds.

That was the second shooting at the club in as many weeks. A 36-year-old security guard was shot around 3 am on Sunday, January 29. He survived the shooting.
