The Buffalo Bills are now 8-3 and back atop the AFC East after a thrilling win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, 28-25.

The Bills have faced a season's worth of adversity over the last three weeks and certainly in the last 7-10 days.

They have battled a host of key injuries, an illness that swept through the locker room and a historic lake effect snowstorm that forced them to switch game locations; with a short week after that.

The Bills offense and defense had shaky moments on Thursday but in the end, it was their star quarterback and wide receiver making an amazing play that set up the game-winning field goal by Tyler Bass.

However, there is one injury all Bills fans and the team itself is concerned with today. Von Miller's knee.

Miller was injured in the second quarter of the game on Thursday against the Lions, after he was rolled up on. He was ruled out almost immediately, which is never a good sign.

Miller's getting an MRI today and while we don't have a definitive timeline on his injury, there are credible reports that paint both a good and bad picture.

According to both Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport, Miller did not tear his ACL, which was the fear on Thursday. That's great news. However, he did likely suffer a lateral meniscus tear and there could be some other damage.

It looks like Miller and team doctors will let the injury calm down and then decide whether or not he can play through or be out indefinitely.

Meniscus injuries are tricky because not all of them are created equal in size, shape and severity. There are many different kinds of meniscus injuries and again, we don't know whether or not there's more damage: meniscus separation, MCL, LCL, PCL, etc.

We do know Miller will likely miss the next two games at least. With injuries to Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa, that means the Bills now have zero pass rushing threats healthy.

Boogie Basham and Shaq Lawson are more of a hybrid edge rusher, run defender, while Mike Love has limited game experience.

The Bills now play three straight AFC East division games and hopes of the number one seed in the AFC are dwindling, as there is an injury to Dion Dawkins now, along with not having Micah Hyde for the rest of the season.

Tremaine Edmunds has missed two games and Josh Allen's elbow injury is not 100 percent yet.

We can only hope Miller's injury is something he can play through.

Von Miller's $4 Million Dollar Mansion Up For Sale

Von Miller has listed his "Club 58" mansion, which is named after the number that he wore while with the Denver Broncos, for $4,125,000 dollars.
