The Buffalo Bills are traveling today to Boston to play the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football tomorrow night. The game will be shown on Amazon Prime and locally on channel 7.

The Bills are 8-3 with their latest win over the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day.

While the Bills players and coaches are fully focused on the Patriots, it doesn't hurt for fans to look back still on that improbable win.

I say "improbable," because considering all the players missing for Buffalo due to injury, along with losing Von Miller and Dion Dawkins during the game, it's pretty amazing the Bills still pulled that game out against a hungry Lions team.

The play that helped win the Bills the game was the 40-yard throw down the middle of the field from Josh Allen to Stefon Diggs with less than 20 seconds remaining, which set up the game-winning field goal by Tyler Bass.

Believe it or not, the Bills had never practiced that play before.

Allen joined Kyle Brandt's show "Kyle Brandt's Basement," on Tuesday and shared that the Diggs throw was a play that offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey shared on the plane to Detroit and that they has never practiced it before...

To call that play in that situation is pretty remarkable, and shows Dorsey's trust in Allen and Diggs.

The Bills will play a Patriots defense who hasn't exactly been tested this season but do have a tremendous pass rush, led by edge rusher Matthew Judon.

If Dawkins can't play (hasn't practiced all week), it will be a tough challenge for the Bills.
