The Buffalo Bills decided to make Bills fans sweat a bit more than intended on Thanksgiving Day.

The team pulled off a thrilling victory over the Detroit Lions 28-25. It was fun for NFL fans but not for Bills Mafia, nor Lions fans, as the second half featured plenty of nail-biting moments.

The Bills battled a large number of injuries to beat the Lions. Star edge rusher Von Miller left the game with a knee injury, while they were already without Micah Hyde, Greg Rousseau, A.J. Epenesa and Tremaine Edmunds. Both Tre'Davious White and Kaiir Elam were on a pitch count, coming back back injuries.

The struggles on offense and defense were evident, however, the Bills two best players decided to step up when they needed it the most: Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs.

The Lions tied the game 25-25 with 23 seconds left. On the first play of the last drive of the game, Allen hit Diggs 45 yards downfield to set the Bills up in field goal range. Tyler Bass then kicked the game-winning, 47-yard field goal with 2 seconds remaining.

After Bass' kick went through the uprights, Allen and Diggs embraced for a hug on the sideline and the video/photo went viral on every social media platform.

That was the feeling for so many Bills fans after Bass' kick went through.

Check out this edited version, which puts Whitney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" in the video. It's amazing.

Diggs, Allen and Bass enjoyed some turkey after the game and they even said it tasted better than last year's, which was against the New Orleans Saints on NBC.

The Bills next play the New England Patriots next Thursday night on Amazon Prime. It took until December to play their first game against the Patriots.
