Halloween is over...so now it's Christmas.  That's how it works right?  Maybe not, but there's no question people's minds start to shift to Christmas now.

For the last couple months, the biggest focus for holiday shopping has been to make sure that people do it early.  The concern is that supply chain issues might slow things down significantly and people will be without gifts that they ordered or shelves might be empty when they finally do get to shopping.

So how do you avoid that?

1.  Shop at brick and mortar stores.  That way there is no shipping issue.  The items that you want are either on the shelves or they aren't.  You can literally have a gift in hand the day you go shopping for it. (Kind of like how it used to be...)

2.  Shop early.  If you start looking for things now, you will know if you can get it, or if it will be out of stock and you need to come up with a backup plan.  That way no one will go without a gift on Christmas.

The Walden Galleria has announced that they will have special holiday shopping hours this year and they will be closed on Thanksgiving day.  Of course they will be opening back up on Black Friday to kick off the holiday shopping season.  But it will not be the crack of dawn early days of the past.  They will open up at 7am on Black Friday morning.

The rest of the shopping season hours will look like this at the Walden Galleria:
