The Buffalo Bills just about have the roster they will take into training camp at the end of July.

General manager Brandon Beane was busy Thursday-Saturday with the 2022 NFL Draft, and even into Sunday, making sure they signed enough undrafted free agents to take to mini and training camp to fill out the roster; the hours after the draft can get very hectic.

The Bills addressed cornerback in round one, selecting Kaiir Elam of Florida.

The Bills also drafted running back James Cook (Georgia), linebacker Terrel Bernard (Baylor), wide receiver Khalil Shakir (Boise State), punter Matt Araiza (San Diego State), cornerback Christian Benford (Villanova), guard Kyle Luneta (Virginia Tech) and linebacker Baylon Spector (Clemson).

The rookies picked their new numbers for the Bills on Monday and on notable one was punter Matt Araiza picking number 19.

Isaiah McKenzie was wearing number 19 but he has decided to switch to number 6.

McKenzie announced the move on Twitter.

In other McKenzie news, he will be competing on the latest season of “America’s Got Talent,” which will air this summer. It’s unclear what McKenzie will be doing on the show, but knowing him, it’ll be worthwhile.

Other notable Bills to wear the number 6 include former backup quarterback Shane Matthews and punter Colton Schmidt.
