The Bills were hoping that McKenzie would step in as the full-time slot receiver this past season as Cole Beasley was released this off-season.

It didn't work out the way the Bills had hoped, but he signed a new 2-year deal last season and is set to make around $2.2 million dollars this upcoming season.

McKenzie has been a fan favorite during his time here in Buffalo and the live recordings of his podcast were a big hit last season in Western New York.

As for the Bills, they still have to make some major decisions this off-season. The Bills could use the franchise tag on Jordan Poyer or Tremaine Edmunds or they could let both of those players become free agents.

They also have to restructure some contracts as well to get under the salary cap before the start of the season and give them some wiggle room when it comes to signing some free agents.
