Is Ziva Returning To NCIS?

NCIS  short for Naval Criminal Investigative Service, investigates crimes involving the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.  It is also one of the top-rated network TV shows (CBS) year after year. The series has lost many a team-member over the seasons...including Michael Weatherly (Very-Special Agent Tony DiNozzo) and Pauley Perrette (forensic miracle-worker Abby Sciutto). One of the hardest departures for fans was that of Cote de Pablo (Mossad-Agent Ziva David).

In July of 2013, CBS reported that de Pablo would be leaving NCIS for undisclosed reasons. De Pablo's return always seemed a distant possibility.

In a spot that aired during last weeks Super Bowl, CBS teased "the biggest NCIS secret of all" to be revealed on Tuesday, Feb. 12's episode entitled "She."

According to ENews...

De Pablo isn't listed as part of the guest cast. The actress left the cast in 2013, her character kissed Tony (Michael Weatherly), and two seasons later, when Weatherly left the show, viewers learned Ziva had a daughter…and had died in an attack. The NCIS team learned of her death, but her remains were never found.

While nothing is etched in stone, there will undoubtedly be a surprise on Tuesday Februrary 12th, will it be Ziva's return...or is it just a giant publicity stunt?
