If you live in Canada and are a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs you might want to reach out and make some friends in the United States over the next couple of days.

Just days after the Florida Panthers stunned the Boston Bruins in the opening round of the NHL playoffs, the team is looking to keep their next opponent's fans at home.

A message from the ticket office of the Florida Panthers states that only fans who have a United States zip code for thier home address will be allowed to purchase tickets to Florida home games for the next series against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Is it fair? It is home ice advantage?

Game one of the series starts tonight in Toronto and I went to see if I could buy tickets to the game from my office in Buffalo, New York and I had no problem at all.

Of course, if you live in Canada and really want to go to the game you can try to buy tickets in the secondary market. According to the above Tweet, nothing is restricting people from the United States from buying tickets and then selling them to people from Toronto.

You can try using Stubhub, SeatGeek, or even places like Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist to find tickets. Just make sure you are buying legit tickets before heading down to Florida.
