Online dating app Bumble wants to bring "face to face" meeting back.

The company plans to bring what's called a  "Bumble Brew" cafe and wine bar to New York City later this year.

The cafe is envisioned as a meeting spot for Bumble users to hang out with dates or friends, or to get together to network.

Bumble originally started as a dating app where women make the first move.

When members of the opposite sex match on Bumble, women are required to make the first move, shifting old-fashioned power dynamics and encouraging equality from the start.

Isn't this just a throwback to when you used to meet people in person.  It's better than the "traditional" blind date, because at least you know what the person looks like in advance.
