Investigation by Police at Hamburg High School for Social Media Threat

Hamburg High School is seeing an extra police presence this morning. This comes after the school received information on a threat made on social media.

According to WIVB a spokesperson for Hamburg Central Schools confirmed, “A student posted a threat directed at Hamburg H.S. on social media.”

School officials believe they found the student responsible for the social media threat and addressing the issue. They also stated they believe all students and staff are safe. The school will continue with a normal day.
