Chestnut Ridge Park in the fall offers the absolute best view of the leaves in Western New York!

Chestnut Ridge Park In The Fall

The fall is here and now that we are just about halfway through the leaves are spectacular in southern Erie County.

One of the best views anywhere around western New York is from the top of the sledding hill at Chestnut Ridge Park.

We signed our sons up for beginner soccer lessons at Chestnut Ridge Park on Thursday afternoons this fall. Although I try to pay attention to them learning how to kick and score and the basics of soccer, it’s hard not to just take and the enormous beauty of the view from Chestnut Ridge Park.

The weekend forecast is calling for rain and that could knock quite a bit of the leaves from their branches. Before it happens, if you have family or friends in town for the Buffalo Bills game this weekend (they face the Dolphins), make it a point to grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and take a ride through the park. The maple trees are spectacular right now. Not mention, you can show them the view of Highmark Stadium and the field house down below the sled hill.

Have a great Halloween weekend and feel free to share those fall foliage photos with on on the WYRK app or via Facebook/Instagram.
