It's been a rough past 18 months for employees and employers alike, amidst the pandemic.

Challenging times for coming into work, running a normal workday, and just being able to find enough workers to run a shift. 2020 and 2021 have not been great for many companies.

However, there is one company in Western New York that is doing so well it's getting attention from Forbes for how it runs its business.

Buffalo Business First is reporting that Moog, which is based in Elma, has made the top 10 of Forbes' list of best employers in New York State. Moog officially came in at number six on the list.

Moog designs and manufactures motion, control systems, and fluid controls for applications in aerospace, defense, and industrial devices.

In fact, six of the top 10 businesses which made the list are in either drugs or biotechnology.

Moog's facilities are based in Elma, just off the 400 expressway and not a far drive from Knox Farm State Park. The facility has multiple buildings that almost look like a college campus and have many different divisions of workers.

I know that Moog is a great company to work for and anyone who looks for a career in electrical engineering, usually tries to get into that company; especially considering they're locally-based.
