Sad news from Chautauqua County this week as a fire has destroyed a popular wedding and catering facility.

According to reports from Twitter, crews were called to battle the flames Sunday at The Homestead Cafe and Catering on State Route 430 in Bemus Point.

The owner tells WGRZ she'll be getting in contact with people who have events booked at the venue in the coming months.

The business owners have a message after the loss this weekend.

No information is available at this time about the cause of the fire.
