So the news has broken that Bill Cosby has been released from a Pennsylvania prison, where he has been for a couple of years.  He was sentenced to 10 years behind bars, but today, Wednesday, June 30, 2021, he was freed after a procedural complication. The District Attorney, Kevin Steele, who is from Montgomery County, where Cosby had been prosecuted, told CNN,

“I want to commend Cosby’s victim Andrea Constand for her bravery in coming forward and remaining steadfast throughout this long ordeal, as well as all of the other women who have shared similar experiences. My hope is that this decision will not dampen the reporting of sexual assaults by victims. Prosecutors in my office will continue to follow the evidence wherever and to whomever it leads. We still believe that no one is above the law—including those who are rich, famous and powerful.”

The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania overturned Cosby's conviction, which allowed the 83-year-old to be set free.  For our 'Talk at 2' today, Buffalo weighed in on whether they were happy or not about his release.  There were people on both sides - happy and upset.  Some folks said, "the law is the law."

According to TMZ, his former television wife Phylicia Rashad, said

"FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted -- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!"
