It's cuffin' season! now that summer is over, it's time to find somebody to keep you warm during these frigid Western New York winters. Of course, that means you'll need to go on a few dates - whether it's with the same person or you're trying out a few members for the team. I put together a list of some not-so-ordinary date ideas. The same ole, same ole is boring and who has time for that!

These 9 date ideas are definitely on the wild side for a first date, but you only live once right.  I've personally been on the bike tour (not the wing tour specifically) and Marc is a really cool guy.  I've been on the Maid of the Mist, but it was years ago.  If you go on a date on the Maid of the Mist, just you know that you will get soaked, so dress appropriately.

Probably the most dangerous date on the list is the helicopter ride.  Although I have ridden in a helicopter and everything was fine, they still terrify me.  That's really for couples who are thrill-seekers. Whichever of these date ideas you choose, I hope you have a blast.

If you're going on a first date, here are eight tips to make it successful:
1. Don’t overcomplicate things
2. Don’t stress unnecessarily
3. Cut down the texting, and meet in person
4. Prepare some first date topics
5. Up your listening game
6. Create a strong first impression
7. Be true to yourself
8. Complete your successful first date with the right follow-up
