According to their website:

Mercy Flight is an independent, not-for-profit provider of emergency and non-emergency air and ground medical transport and supporting services; ensuring rapid, safe and cost effective delivery of expert response teams. Established in 1981, we have safely completed more than 26,000 patient missions over the last 36 years.

Mercy Flight EMS provides 24/7 care to our region.  Their division headquarters is located in Batavia, NY with operations serving all of Genesee County,  Springville, Concord, Niagara County, and surrounding areas.  Mercy Flight EMS responds to over 6,000 requests of service each year.

Mercy Flight EMS has an Operations Manager who works hard to ensure that all the moving parts work efficiently and seamlessly.  Day-to-day operations require a Paramedic Crew Chief as an extension of management.

The Crew Chief’s roles include overall operational support and awareness of the system, providing EMS Liaison to the local Incident Commanders on scenes, and serving as a Paramedic intercept to assist BLS ambulances as needed or to assist other BLS response agencies within the areas we serve.

A not-for-profit MercyFlight relies on the communities support to fund its ongoing mission.

Tickets for the annual Mercy Flight Fundraiser went on sale Friday (7/23).

WIVB-TV, a sponsor of the event tells us that the MercyFlight Bash will be held at Buffalo Riverworks on September 25. Tickets range from $35-$75 and include food, drinks, music, and a fireworks display.
