It has been almost two weeks since we have seen significant rainfall in Western New York, but that is set to change tonight.

According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, a slow-moving cold front will impact Western New York tonight and bring rain with it over the next couple of days.

While we will see some rain tonight, much of the rainfall will happen on Tuesday before tapering off on Wednesday morning.


On average Western New York gets around 38.5 inches of rain per year. This could be a trend as the Old Farmer's Alamc predicted a wetter than usual winter this year in Western New York.
