The NFL is trying as hard as it can to limit the spread of the virus both on the field and within the individual team facilities. Masks are mandatory on the sidelines and the amount of personnel on the sidelines has been limited.

The numbers of cases have been on the rise here in Western New York and both the governor and the county executive have warned that the area may be headed for a "Red Zone"designation. This would be as close to a complete shutdown as we have been since the spring of this year.

Best wishes going out to Tommy Sweeny. It is never easy to have to deal with bad news regarding your health. Beyond that, it has to be tough to see the virus force your lifelong work to come to a halt. It is just another reminder to all of us to wear a mask and wash our hands.
