This is a true feel good story about a teen who saw people struggling and jumped in to help out where she could.

Her name is Rachel Best.  According to WGRZ, she works on a farm in Byron, NY when she's not working on her school work from home.

It's funny how your perspective is changed when you're immersed in something.  While working at the dairy farm, she's seen countless farmers who have been forced to dump their milk.  They've had to decrease their milk production by 15%.  However, that doesn't mean that cows just stop producing milk.  That milk is still coming.  And farmers still have to work to milk them.  At the same time, there are people who are struggling to keep dairy products in their fridges at home.

It's a very sad situation.

But that's where 16-year-old Rachel comes in.  She has become the "Dairy Fairy."

She found a way to help out both the people who are struggling to put food in their fridges AND the farmers.  She's been using her own money to pay those farmers for that milk and deliver it to the people who need it.  It's a win-win.

Then it gets even better...

Word got out that she was using her own money to do this and the community stepped up to help out too.  Before you know it, people are kind of doubling as the dairy fairy.  They start to do the same.  Or at the very least, they donate cash and gift cards to help the original dairy fairy out!

"I can't even tell you how proud I am [of Rachel.] I don't think she fully knows how far reaching what she started is. I don't think she comprehends how many people she's helped and it's just amazing,"  - Jessica Best. (Rachel's Mom)
