Harry Potter Festival Coming to Buffalo

One of the most popular franchises in all of pop culture over the past 25 years has been Harry Potter.

Let's not even remotely undersell it -- Harry Potter has been a part of life for many around the world, including here in Western New York. From the movies to the books and the card games to the merchandise -- Harry Potter mania is the real deal.

If you're a huge Harry Potter fan or know someone who is, then there's an event they will not want to miss.

According to Step Out Buffalo, there's a Harry Potter Party happening this September called 'Wizard Fest.'

The event is described as a Harry Potter party with trivia, dress up and everything you can think of that involves Hogwarts.

There will be vendors on-site, along with performers and other entertainment, such as Quidditch, scavenger hunts, and a costume contest! Don't worry, butterbeer will be there as well.

Those attending are encouraged to dress up in their house colors or themed wardrobes. You know, the houses such as Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff!

The party will be happening from 7-10 p.m. at Mohawk Place on Mohawk Street in downtown Buffalo. Tickets are $15 and you can even take the official hat sorting quiz. There are also Official Wand tickets and VIP tickets, which will cost more but come with added perks. The event is 18 and over.

I'm engaged to the biggest Harry Potter fan you will ever meet and she will most definitely be going to this festival in Buffalo. Harry Potter fans are truly some of the most dedicated and I'm sure this party will be amazing.
