If you were planning on heading out to the Hamburg Farmer's Market this weekend, be aware that it will still be happening, it is just changing locations.

The farmers market that has been held behind the village municipal lot for years now will be moving up the street to Moose Lodge 992 according to WIVB.

It sounds as though the first two weeks were a huge success when you talk about attendance, but when it comes to social distancing, packing a huge number of people in a small space seemed counterproductive.  That's why the move became necessary.  The original lot was just not big enough to accommodate the number of people and still practice social distancing.

So starting this weekend, the market will move a few minutes away to the Hamburg Moose Lodge 992 at 45 Church Street in Hamburg.

Remember, masks will be required of everyone who will be attending.  If you are not wearing a mask, you will not be permitted to enter the market.  The hours will remain the same from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through October 31.
