One thing's for sure -- this weekend's weather in Western New York won't be pretty. It looks like rain, sleet and snow are on the way for us. But how much snow?

It's hard to pinpoint exactly how much but according to WKBW, the European weather model is showing that as much as seven inches could fall in the southtowns and southern tier. 2-4 inches is expected to fall in the Buffalo metro from Saturday morning through Sunday evening.

Much of snow should fall on Sunday. Saturday might be a little of everything (rain/sleet) before shifting into all snow.

I'm personally hoping the precipitation is all snow as soon as possible -- the snow/sleet/rain mix can get really messy and cold temps causing ice is bad news.
