The little free pantry, located at Greater Niagara FCU’s Niagara Falls branch (2901 Military Road) is filled with non-perishable food purchased with funds awarded to the credit union through a grant from Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union.

The idea of the pantry is “take what you need and leave what you can”. The materials used to build the pantry were donated by Greater Niagara FCU.

Janelle Zasucha, Greater Niagara FCU CEO explained in a press release:

“We have a little free pantry at our North Tonawanda branch and it is used every day by the community.  We felt that the community around our Niagara Falls branch would also benefit from a little free pantry. When Everett approached us looking for an Eagle Scout project, we had the solution.  This pantry is the fourth Eagle Scout project that we have funded in the past 18 months.  We believe that working with the Boy Scouts is a great way to give back to the community.”

Donations can be dropped off at any time by placing them in the little free pantry.  Anyone needing a little help can stop by the pantry located at Greater Niagara FCU where “Together We Are Greater”.
