Runners reported seeing Dozer at several points along the way, and he crossed the finish line at with a time of 2 hours and 14 minutes. Dozer's owner had no idea what had happened.  In fact, they were frantically searching for him until he returned home Monday morning with muddy feet and a limp.  Dozer's expected to be fine, and even received a medal and some dog treats from race organizers.
