Originally scheduled to end this month, the museum announced the exhibit will be extended through January 3, 2021 reports WGRZ.

"The exhibition consists of over 100 key objects from the Manchester Museum’s world-class collection, including eight mummies, as well as masks, coffins, jewelry and sculpture. Blending Egyptian, Roman and Greek imagery, the strikingly lifelike painted mummy portraits are among the most haunting images from the Ancient World," the Buffalo Museum of Science says about the exhibit on their website.

If you're homeschooling this year, you could build a great field trip around the exhibit for your kids. I have two 6th graders at home currently studying Ancient History -- without a doubt, having an in-person experience can make learning so much more engaging and exciting -- especially if you and your kids have been spending a lot of time at home.

The Buffalo Museum of Science is abiding by COVID-19 safety protocols, and so tickets for the museum must be reserved in advance. You can click here to do that.

Even the museum's mascots are reminding everyone to wear a mask.

This is a separately ticketed event; tickets are $5 for museum members, $19 for adults, and $16 for children 2-17, students and military.
